Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Toronto, Ontario. Design plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.

Victoria Memorial Square Park Refresh Project. The park improvements may include: Additional heritage interpretation elements; New social gathering spaces; Upgrades to existing pathways; New site furnishings (i.e. benches, chairs, seat walls and/or picnic tables); Updated historical interpretive signage, including an Indigenous history component, to be integrated with the city of Toronto new wayfinding system; General site improvements including upgrades to the existing granite border/pathway, playground improvements, and a refresh of existing monuments; New planting features and trees and grass; and Lighting improvements and a potential integrated art feature. TIMELINE: A Request for Proposal for landscape architecture services closed September 2022 and was awarded spring 2023. Public Engagement is proceeding through fall/winter 2023. Design is underway and will proceed through late 2023/early 2024. Tender and construction are expected in early spring 2024. ERA Architects completed the concept plan in 2022. *A contact at the design architect is not released at this time.
