Renovation of a municipal facility in Deerfield, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 5,444-square-foot municipal facility.
The Work of this Project consists, in general, of furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), including low-voltage systems, for the new Deerfield Village Hall. The new Village Hall is a one-story wood framed building of approximately 5,444 square feet. The building includes offices, conference rooms, toilet rooms, office support spaces, mechanical room, entry lobby and vestibule. Lump sum, single-prime bids will be received. BID SECURITY in the amount of five percent (5%) of the maximum amount of the Bid must accompany each Bid as described in the Instructions to Bidders in the Project Manual. The Owner may require Bidders to file a completed BIDDERS PROOF OF RESPONSIBILITY statement with the Owner to show sufficient financial ability, equipment, and experience to properly perform the Contract. No Bid may be withdrawn until 60 days after the time stated for receipt of Bids. The contract will normally be awarded to the lowest qualified bidder on all the work, based on the availability of funds. Any and all bids may be rejected if there is a sound and properly documented reason. The Village encourages the use of local subcontractors and suppliers to the greatest extent possible.
