The park is adjacent to the Licking River Greenway Trail system offering a starting and stopping point for the community. The City of Covington is soliciting Proposals from qualified Respondents who can provide material and installation services for a playground and shade structure for Clayton Meyer Park. Objectives. The City of Covington is seeking a qualified Respondent for services to build and install a new playground and shade structure: The objectives of the contracted services are to: 1. Install playground structure, shade structure and swing set. 2. Install a 22x32 concrete pad for shade structure. 3. Ensure that the playground is up to code with Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) standards including all Engineered Wood Fiber (EWF) is installed and compacted to a 3" depth. 4. Ensure that the highest quality products are being used, so that the playground will be sustainable for the foreseeable future. 5. Perform any necessary follow up treatment or finishing as needed. A follow up treatment will only be required if both the contractor and Parks and Recreation designee determine that it is necessary after a post-work walkthrough. Davis Bacon Not Applicable.
