Install residential well in Dillingham Alaska. The magnitude of construction is: $25,000 to $100,000 . Period of Performance: 08/24/2022 to 10/31/2022 The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this contract within 10 calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 90 days after the date the contractor receives the notice to proceed. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises BACKGROUND A. The Togiak NWR has a residential well that needs to be installed for a small residence in Dillingham Alaska. This will require disconnection from existing water line and installing a new well in accordance with State of Alaska BMPs B. Disconnect the existing water line from Residence, drill, install and seal new well for the residence. 2.0 SCOPE OF WORK 2.1. Base Requirements 2.1.1. Line Item 01 - Well Installation A. Disconnect and abandon in place the existing well supply line to Residence 1 in Dillingham Alaska. Water supply line should run as indicated on the Drawings. B. Provide new potable drinking private well and well casing to supply to Residence 1. Provide disinfection and sealing as required by the State of Alaska. Installation shall follow the State of Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation Drinking Water Program, Best Management Practices for Construction of Non-Public Water Wells, Current Edition (June 2016) C. Well Installer shall have a minimum of 5 years of installing Water Wells in the Area of Dillingham Alaska or be a Certified Well Driller in good Standing with the Alaska Water Well Association (AWWA). D. Secure local City of Dillingham Permits for installation of Well. E. Secure ADEC Permits F. Deliverables: (i) Documentation of installation of previous wells in Dillingham or Certification of Membership with the AWWA (ii) Work plan, meeting the State of Alaska BMPs (iii) Completed Permits (iv) Well Logs Option Line Item 02 - Water Supply Line Installation A. Provide new, minimum, 2" HDPE supply line, dependent to meet water flow requirements, from installed well to Residence entrance. Abandon in place existing water line. See BMPs and Task Order for Water well capping. See Page 6 for Typical Detail of Trench Section. B. Replace all disturbed areas with new material, topsoil, seeding as required. C. Deliverables: (i) Submittals for all materials to be installed. 2.3. Additional Requirements 2.3.1. Period of Performance A. Work shall be completed 90 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed. 2.3.2. Additional hours outside normal work hours may be requested and are subject to approval by Station staff and the Contracting Officer. 3.1.3. Staging Area A.
