Airport Waterline Extension The City of Dillingham, AK (hereinafter "City") is requesting proposals from qualified and experienced professional firms (hereinafter "Firm") interested in providing all the necessary engineering services to 1) design approximately 12,900 linear feet (LF) of 12- inch Ductile Iron Pipe (DIP) watermain extension and associated appurtenances from the existing water distribution system to the municipal airport and approximately 1,200 LF of water services lines and 2) construction administration and inspection services. The engineering design shall include all drawings and specifications, construction cost estimates, required permitting, project bidding and award recommendations and contract documents. While property acquisition will be handled by others, the Firm will be required to prepare all easement and property purchase plats. Additionally, the Firm will be responsible for obtaining permits to locate the waterline within the right-of-way where applicable. The design engineering services, including the City's administrative costs, are funded by a Drinking Water State Revolving Fund - Emerging Contaminants Loan for $1,400,000 from State of Alaska, Department of Environmental Conservation (ADEC), Division of Water, State Revolving Loan Program.
