2022 PAVEMENT REHAB 22-003-P General questions may be addressed by emailing questions to Peter Wingblad at p.wingblad@burtnomi.gov. Each proposal submitted to the Owner shall be accompanied by a Proposal Guarantee in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, money order or bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the total base bid. Proposals submitted without a proposal guarantee will not be read at the bid opening. If a bidder is given a Notice of Award and fails to execute the contract within fifteen (15) calendar days after the Notice, they shall forfeit all claims to the contract, and the Proposal Guarantee shall be forfeited. A bid on this project shall only be submitted on the proposal form furnished with the Contract Documents. All proposals shall comply with the conditions listed in the Contract Documents. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of proposals without the consent of the Owner for a period of ten (10) days after the bid closing. The bids of the two lowest Bidders shall not be withdrawn after the opening of proposals without the consent of the Owner for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid closing. The right is reserved by the Owner to waive any informality in bids, to reject any or all bids, or accept any bid or combination of bids, which is considered most favorable to the Owner. The Owner may also adjust any work item quantities without adjustment of the bid unit price.
