This Bid request is to contract the production of various rock products, as specified below, for purchase by Lewis County. The Contractor shall allow the Contracting Agency to sample each rock product stockpiled at their pit site for approval. Upon production of each rock product, the County's representative will begin testing for verification for material acceptance as per Section 3-04 of the 2022 Standard Specifications. The Contractor hereby grants the Contracting Agency and/or its authorized contractors the right of ingress and egress and to enter upon the pit site at times listed as hours of work in the progress schedule until the completion of this contract. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive informalities and to contract as the best interests of the County may appear. The County also reserves the right to select the lowest bidder for each of the different bid items whether it be the same bidder or not.
