Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Levittown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Delivery of all proposals to the Authority office shall be the sole responsibility of the bidder. Submission of bid proposal through FAX or E-mail will not be accepted. For: Contract No. WWTP-441 Restoration Of Concrete Sidewalks, Driveways, Aprons, Curbs And Sites Affected By Water Main Breaks And Replacements Each bidder will be required to submit, with their bid, the completed Qualification Form contained in the contract documents. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check or a Surety's Consent and a Bid Bond payable to Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid. The said Surety shall be bound to furnish a Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, thereafter required on the specified Bond Forms included in the Contract Documents. Lower Bucks County Joint Municipal Authority reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality, or to accept any proposal deemed to be most favorable to the interests of the Authority. No bidder may withdraw their bid within ninety (90) days after the actual date of the bid opening. The work consists of furnishing and providing all labor, tools, required equipment, materials, methods, processes, implements and machinery which are necessary and required to repair, and/or install, and/or replace, and/or restore and put in complete order for use; concrete sidewalk, curb, driveway, driveway apron and minor street patching in areas of trenches excavated for the repair of water mains of the Owner and/or similar work involving concrete and/or bituminous concrete work required within the Owner's service area. The work sites are located in Bristol, Falls, Middletown Townships and Tullytown Borough. Local regulations and specifications of each Township/Borough shall be applicable. The Contractor shall be required to obtain applicable construction permits from each Township/Borough's License and Inspection Department at his/her own expense. Permit fees paid for the work required under this Contract and approved by the Owner are reimbursable. The Contractor shall submit a copy of the permit and proof of payment to the Owner for reimbursement consideration. All work shall be subject to inspection of the respective Township/Borough Inspection Department as well as the Owner. The Contractor agrees that the bituminous paving, concrete curb, sidewalk, driveway, and/or apron trench backfill, site grading, etc. and other work covered under this contract shall be free from all defects and be guaranteed for a period of one (1) year from the date of acceptance and any defect which may develop within this period shall be replaced and/or repaired by the Contractor without any expense to the Owner. The Contractor is required to meet all Pennsylvania One Call requirements prior to digging. The Authority does not guarantee any specific amount of work under this contract. For the purpose of estimating an amount of the bid bond, performance and labor and material bonds, the Contractor shall consider installation of 500 ft 2 of 4" concrete, 500 ft 2 of 6" concrete, 100 Linear feet of curb, 100ft 2 of driveway and 1 handicap ramp with cast in place truncated dome grid surface and 1 handicap ramp without cast in place truncated dome grid surface
