Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a sidewalk / parking lot in Troup, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Estimated budget is between $100,000 and $500,000. Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: 1. 1.765 SY Concrete Sidewalk 2. 27 Decorative Light Poles 3. 11 Curb Ramps & 1 Ramp with Handrails 4. 1 Concrete ADA Parking Space A cashier's check payable to the order of the City of Troup, in the amount of five percent (5%) of bid, or, Bid Bond issued by a surety licensed to do business in Texas in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid shall be submitted with each bid. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Affairs and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual identity, gender identity, or national origin. The City of Troup reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Troup for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
