Site work and renovation of a civil project in Liberty Center, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work consists of removal and replacement of all piping, pump and controls for the East and West Maple Street Pump Station and providing a by-pass pump, and necessary appurtenances. The opinion of the probable cost is $400,00000. All bids must be signed and submitted on the blanks which are bound in this booklet. Bids must state the unit prices in the blanks provided and be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked -- SANITARY SEWER PUMP STATION REHABILITATION - FOR THE VILLAGE OF LIBERTY CENTER, OHIO -- and addressed to the Village of Liberty Center, 110 East Street, P.O. Box 92, Liberty Center, OH 43532. The bid guaranty may be of two forms: 1. A Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond using the form in the Contract Documents (The amount of the bid does NOT have to appear on this form). 2. A certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in favor of the Village in the amount of 10% of the bid. If the contract is awarded, a Contract Bond will be required, which is 100% payment and performance bond. 3. If you are an out-of-state corporation wishing to submit a bid for this project, you must submit an Ohio Certificate of Good Standing and the name and address of your Ohio Statutory Agent with your bid documents. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experience on projects of similar size and complexity, and a complete listing of all subcontractors to be used. The owner intends and requires that this project be completed no later than June 1, 2023. All contractors and subcontractors involved in the project will, to the extent practicable use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of OAC Chapter 123, the Governor's Executive Order of 1972, and Governor's Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. DOMESTIC STEEL USE REQUIREMENTS AS SPECIFIED IN SECTION 153.011 OF THE REVISED CODE APPLY TO THIS PROJECT. COPIES OF SECTION 153.011 CAN BE OBTAINED FROM ANY OF THE OFFICES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES. The successful bidder will be required to pay not less than the minimum wage rates established by the Department of Industrial Relations. Bids received after the scheduled bid opening date and time, or not accompanied by a satisfactory bid bond or check, will neither be read nor considered. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. This project is being partially funded in part by OPWC and OWDA funds. The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularity in any bid and to determine the lowest and best bidder.
