Town of Georgetown, Indiana will put out a request for proposals for a contract to provide solid waste collection services for residential and commercial properties within the Town of Georgetown pursuant to Indiana Code 36-9-30-5.3, as more particularly described herein and in the specifications and contract documents incorporated herein by reference. Said request for proposal will be submitted and published thirty (30) days from this Notice. After their reading, the proposals may be taken under advisement and a final decision made by the Town Council at a subsequent public meeting. The Town of Georgetown reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in any proposal, to award the contract in accordance with Indiana Code 36-9-30-5.3, including but not limited to a basis of cost, technical evaluation of facility design, system reliability, energy efficiency, financial condition of the proposer, and compatibility with source separation, other recycling systems, and environmental protection. Any comments related to the scope or contents of the proposed request for proposal should be provided to Town Hall, at the address identified below, within thirty (30) days of this Notice.
