The County of Glenn Public Works Agency is soliciting Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from independent, licensed, professional consultant firms with expertise in on-call engineering services on an as-needed basis to assist the County. The selected consultant(s) will provide services at various locations throughout Glenn County. The County intends to undertake multiple projects that are local, state and federally funded. In order to comply with state and federal regulations and due to limited staffing and expertise, certain services are contracted out. The addition of an on-call agreement will allow the County to identify qualified and capable personnel to assist with the delivery of various projects. This RFQ process will be used by the County to select multiple firms to enter into a Local Assistance Federal-aid Projects Agreement (Agreement) with the County. While the number of selected firms depends on the number of qualified applicants, it is anticipated that approximately three (3) on-call engineering services contracts will be executed to support Public Works over the next five (5) years. Selected firms will be expected to work closely with designated County staff, consultants, and contractors to ensure the timely implementation that meets the identified scope and needs of the County. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
