As of August 31, 2022, this project is in the conceptual phase. An engineer has not been selected. Although a firm timeline for construction has not been determined, construction is expected to start June 2024. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Three (3) bridges within Brunet Island State Park, one (1) small pedestrian bridge will need to be replaced and two (2) vehicle bridges will need repair; One (1) bridge at Council Grounds State Park will need to be replaced, culvert alternatives need to be investigated during preliminary design to determine most economical crossing type; One (1) bridge along the Bearskin State Trail will need to be replaced.
