It is the responsibility of each proposer to examine the entire Request for Proposal (RFP) package, seek clarification in writing, and review their proposal for accuracy before submitting. Questions relating to this RFP submitted in writing in Bonfire no later than August 18, 2022 at 5:00 PM local time in Houston should be answered by August 25, 2022. The Opportunity Q&A will remain open in Bonfire. However, questions received after the August 18, 2022 deadline are not guaranteed responses. All questions submitted in writing prior to the deadline will be compiled and answered via an Addendum, and vendors will be notified of the Addendum by public notice in Bonfire. The County will not be bound by any information conveyed verbally. Harris County may consider five (5) one-year renewal options, renewable one (1) year at a time, based on the same terms and conditions with pricing for labor only revised not to exceed the corresponding increase in CPI for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U), all items in Houston-The Woodlands-Sugar Land, TX, all urban consumers, not seasonally adjusted. Renewal is subject to approval by the Harris County Hospital District Board of Trustees. Harris County reserves the right to rebid at any time as is in its best interest and is not automatically bound to renew. Harris County is seeking proposals from companies for supplemental staffing/labor resources for the Harris Health System (HHS). Maintenance services cover roughly 2.6 million square feet of hospital space, including garages. HHS and the awarded vendor will collaborate to build a structured program of outsourced skilled positions that focus on specific areas of need, which will put HHS in a better position to maintain its facilities in a high quality manner.
