Renovation of a municipal facility in Oxford, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time. Courthouse background: At the courthouse located at 118 W High Street, the courtroom hasseveral public meetingsfor the City each month, three of which are recorded and live-streamed to a web application. The Butler County Area 1 Court, who is not employed by the City, also usesthe equipment once a week. The City would like the audio-visual system to be improved to allow for more ease in transparency to the public on local governmental processes. We record and stream these meetings and these recordings are retained as a public record. Current systemsthat are in place include: o Projection system (Sony VPL-PHZ10) o 2 wall-mounted TV displays o Audio amplification system o 4 cameras (Panasonic AW-HN38HKPJ) o Soundboard o 10 wired mics (Shure MX 418) on the council bench and speaking podium o 2 wireless microphone units o 9 ceiling speakers o ClickShare system o Encoder (TMP) There is additional equipment that is used by the Court staff that has not been cataloged but will need to be reviewed and identified during the AV assessment process. There is an operator for the AV system who runs the cameras and microphones from an AV room in the building and a second staff member who manages the livestream during meetings. The City operates on a Windows platform and will be upgrading to Microsoft 365 in early 2023.
