Site work for a civil project in Smithers, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
The Town of Smithers is seeking a qualified contractor to complete regrading and storm water drainage improvements on Lane One between Scotia St and Virginia St. General works will include regrading of the road surface, ditching, supply and installation of culverts and adjusting manhole lids. This project will require approximately 49m3 of imported 25mm road crush or MoTI HFSA, 4 200mm driveway culverts totaling approximately 54.1 LM, cleaning out/establishing approximately 154 LM of 0.5m ditch, and adjusting 2 sanitary manhole lids Supply all labour, materials, and equipment necessary to: Regrade Lane One from Scotia St to Virginia St to a 2.0% crossfall. This will require importing approximately 49m3 of road crush. Establish a 0.5m deep ditch on the East side of Lane One Install 200mm Boss 2000 culverts across all but one (4829) driveway on the East side of Lane One.
