Site work for a civil project in Smithers, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and water / sewer project.
The Town of Smithers is seeking a qualified contractor to complete regrading and storm water drainage improvements on Queen St between 13th Ave and the lane between 13th Ave and 14th Ave, and for a short distance along 13th Ave. General works will include regrading of the road surface, ditching, and supply and installation of culverts. This project will require regrading the gravel portion of Queen St requiring approximately 8m3 of imported 25mm road crush or MoTI HFSA, 6 200mm driveway culverts totaling approximately 39.8 LM with headwalls, cleaning out/establishing approximately 128 LM of 0.4m deep ditch. Supply all labour, materials, and equipment necessary to: Regrade the gravel portion of Queen St from 13th Ave to the lane between 13th Ave and 14th Ave Establish a 0.4m deep ditch on both side of Queen St and on the East side of 13th Ave from 3878 13th Ave tieing into the Queen St ditch Install 200mm Boss 2000 culverts across all driveways and the lane
