Site work for a communication facility in Pomeroy, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility.
The work on this project includes, but is not limited to the following: Furnishing all labor, equipment and materials (unless otherwise noted) necessary for the construction of fiber optic extensions in Pomeroy and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) construction in Pataha Completing and complying with all permitting as required Completing all make-ready work as noted in the bid documents Known utility owners include: NoaNet, City of Pomeroy Public Works, Garfield County Public Works, Pacific Power & Light, Lumen and the Port of Garfield. The contractor is responsible for confirming all utility owners and locate procedures. Work must commence as soon as the possible after September 1, 2022. The entire project must be completed by January 31, 2023. Weather days are allowed. If construction leads to the inadvertent discovery of an artifact or bone that may be human in origin, all ground-disturbing activity must discontinue immediately. Department of Archaeology and Historic Preservation (DAHP) protocols will be followed. No payment shall be made for any construction delays related to DAHP protocols. The Port may elect to extend the project completion date to reflect the time lost. A bid guaranty, payment and performance bond will be required for this project. There will not be a pre- bid meeting. Any questions received in writing, per the invitation to bid guidelines, shall be posted on the link above with the answers. Any addendums that are issued will be posted on the link above. Bidders should check this link for any additional information prior to bid submission. The Port reserves the right to reject any or all offers if such action is in the best interest of the Port and waives informalities and minor irregularities in offers received. Bids may be delivered by mail or delivered in person. Bidders must meet the criteria in RCW 39.04.350. All work performed on this project will be subject to the prevailing state wage rates. The Port of Garfield is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer. This project is funded/partially funded through the Washington State Department of Commerce with federal funds from the U.S. Treasury ARPA SLFRF. Contractors are encouraged to commit to local hires for this project. Small, Minority- and Women-owned firms are encouraged to submit bids.
