Site work for a water / sewer project in Alhambra, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The City of Alhambra is requesting a proposal for professional engineering design services for Main Street Sewer Main Replacement Project. The City's Sewer System Rehabilitation Plan identified this project as one of the priorities to improve the aging infrastructure and improve capacity with the primary consideration of health and safety of the public and the protection of the environment by minimizing the possibility of sewage spills and overflows. Based on The Sewer System Rehabilitation Plan identified the Main Street (from Granada Ave. to El Molino St.) to be deficient in capacity. Therefore, it's recommended to replace existing 8-inch sewer main with approximately 741 feet to 12-inch sewer main. The project is also including remove and replace existing sewer manholes; street pavement; and geotechnical investigation. August 11, 2022 Submit Written Questions to the City September 26, 2022 Contract Award by the City Council October 17, 2021 Execution of Contract and Notice to Proceed The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
