Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Groton, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

The work to be performed consists principally of constructing a 72' by 52' by 20' eave height wood framed salt storage shed enclosure to be constructed on an 8' high concrete foundation to be constructed by the Highway Department. Bid packages will not be mailed to any bidder. Bid packages will include the Invitation to Bid, Notice to Bidders, Instructions to Bidders, Bid Sheet, Non-Collusion Affidavit of Bidder, Disclosure Certificate, Qualifications of Bidder, Conflict of Interest Certificate, Bidder's Certificate of Criminal Non- Involvement, Assurances, AFFI, Affidavit, General Conditions, Contract and Exhibits, all to be included as the Contract Documents. Bids must be filed in accordance with the specifications of the Town of Groton and Municipal Law Section 103. The Town of Groton reserves the right to reject all bids or to waive any irregularity in a bid and further reserves the right to accept the lowest responsible bid that is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. In the event of any discrepancy in the price or amount of the Bid for any item in the proposal, the price as expressed in words shall govern. The work performed under this contract is subject to the prevailing wage requirements of the New York State Labor Law. The Town will not respond to questions submitted orally. Answers that materially change the conditions and specifications of the Invitation to Bidders will be posted on the Town's site after August 12, 2022, as an addendum. Email requests for addendums or information must include the return point of contact email address. Any discussions or documents will be considered non- binding unless incorporated in an addendum to the original. When addenda are issued, the bid opening date may be extended at the discretion of the Town.
