The scope of work consists of the maintenance of Edwards EST3 Fire Alarm System at Lihue Airport as per manufacturer's requirements and recommendations. To be eligible for the award, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii Specialty Contractor's "C-13" or "C-15" or "C-15a" license at the time of the bid. The bidder must have a minimum of three (3) consecutive years of experience (immediately prior to the bid opening date) in the fields of Fire Alarm System maintenance. ALL requests for information shall be received in writing via HIePRO prior to the Question Due Date in General Information of the HIePRO solicitation. Questions received after the deadline will not be addressed. Verbal requests for information will not receive a response. Hawaii Products Preference. The Hawaii Products Preference pursuant to 103D1002, Hawaii Revised Statutes (HRS), is applicable to this project. Persons wishing to certify and qualify a product as a Hawaii Product shall submit a Certification for Hawaii Product Preference (SPO Form 38) to the DOT Contracts office no later than 4:30 P.M., fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the bid opening date. Campaign contributions by State and County Contractors. Contractors are hereby notified of the applicability of Section 11-355, HRS, which states that campaign contributions are prohibited from specified State or county government contractors during the term of the contract if the contractors are paid with funds appropriated by a legislative body.
