As of July 23, 2024, an engineer has been selected and this project is in the design phase. Design is not expected to be complete for several months. The scope of work includes, Scope of work to be performed includes: 1. Planning of the facilities including analysis of the needed capacities, routes, layouts, costs & funding. and schedule required to meet the Citys needs. 2. Design & permitting of the new WWTP, transmission forcemains & required lift station improvements for proper function of the system. 3. Engineering services during construction for the improvements. 4. Assistance in obtaining funding for the improvements and compliance with funding agency requirements throughout each phase of the projects. The primary service being required is professional engineering; therefore, the firm must have an Engineering Certificate of Authorization in the State of Florida. Evaluation and selection will occur in accordance with the appropriate requirements at a time and place to be determined. At the discretion of the City, respondents may be asked to give a short presentation/interview as part of the selection process.
