Air Conditioning Systems, Water Treatment Services The successful bidder shall provide monthly chemical treatment services that include chemicals, technical services, consulting, testing and balancing of the systems, as specified herein, for the open cooling tower systems, closed chilled and hot water systems as listed on the bid response pages. The successful bidder shall offer a fixed monthly price to include all supervision, labor, equipment, materials, tools, machinery, transportation and other facilities and services necessary to fully and completely accomplish this service. Price shall be inclusive of all equipment listed at the location specified on the bid response page. The monthly water treatment program shall cost-effectively optimize equipment land piping life; minimize water and chemical use; maximize safety; minimize environmental impact; and minimize container handling and operator workload. It is the intent of the County to obtain the designed life expectancy from the HVAC equipment. All work shall be done in a professional manner that meets or exceeds industry standards as well as the requirements of applicable Federal, State, and Local codes and regulations in addition to ASHRAE standards and EPA regulations. During the site inspections, the more critical/complex sites will be viewed and do not represent all locations currently included in each lot. The County reserves the right to add/delete locations that require viewing during the site inspection(s). At this time, the County's representative will be available to answer questions relative to this Invitation for Bid (IFB). Any suggested modifications may be presented in writing to, or discussed with the County's representative(s) as possible amendments to the Invitation for Bid.
