Reference number : 1630041 Review Title : De-icing salt 2022-2023 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-08-22 Submission sent electronically accepted: No At the request of the person in charge of the city of Saint-Lin-Laurentides, provide the materials, labor and equipment necessary for the supply and/or transport of de-icing salt for the city of Saint-Lin- Laurentians for the 2022-2023 winter season. The de-icing salt must comply with the LC 12101 standard of the Ministère des Transports du Québec. This quote is requested for approximately 3,500 metric tons of de-icing salt. However, a variation of plus or minus thirty percent (30%) in the quantity may be expected. The TENDERER must, in order to protect the PRINCIPAL against possible losses from its refusal to enter into or perform the Contract in accordance with its Tender, provide a tender guarantee for a lump sum of TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS (20,000 .00$). The CONTRACTING PARTY must, in order to guarantee the proper performance of the Contract, provide the PRINCIPAL with a performance guarantee for a lump sum which must correspond to one or other of the following amounts: an amount of FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($500,000.00) if the guarantee is provided in the form of a certified cheque, money order or bank draft, drawn on a Financial Institution and made out to the ORDER'S order; an amount of FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($500,000.00) if the guarantee is provided in the form of a contract performance bond issued by a Financial Institution and conforming to the model reproduced in appendix 4.02 B of the Submission. After their opening, the Submissions are given to the Representative of the File or his delegate for study and, if necessary, they are then presented to the appropriate body of the PRINCIPAL for adjudication.
