Site work for a bridge / tunnel in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB or Municipality) has noted the general decline of two (2) pedestrian bridges located in Borealis Park (10500 Morrison Street). The bridges have reached the end of their life cycle and require replacement as they are becoming a safety hazard to the public users. In this regard, the RMWB is seeking design-build proposals from qualified proponents for the design and replacement of the two (2) pedestrian bridges, for the following scope of work. It is expected that the successful proponent will engage the services of professional engineers and others as required to meet the scope requirements.
