Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chesterfield, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of September 14, 2022, this project was awarded to Southern Paving Corporation, but awarded amount is not available. Paving repairs on the grounds of Pocahontas State Park, Amphitheater, Picnic Area Pathway, Beaver Lake Spillway Pathway and Swift Creek Launch Roadway Contractor shall provide a fixed price bid to include but not limited to all equipment, materials, labor, tools, and supervision to perform asphalt paving, improvements, general maintenance and repairs within Pocahontas State Park. The Contractor shall obtain, possess, maintain, and comply with all applicable local, state, federal requirements such as licensing, permits, codes, laws, regulations, standards, specifications, and guidelines for providing asphalt services as identified. Proposed three (4) areas for approximately 450sqyds, 950sqyds, 730sqyds and 1400 sq yds for a total of 3530sqyds. Measurements are estimates only and contractors shall be responsible for true and accurate measuring prior to bidding and ordering materials. Reference map attached. Please bid each section separately, in order of priority It is the statewide goal of the Commonwealth that 42% of its purchases be made from small businesses certified by DSBSD
