Fuel mitigation works are required via manual thinning, hand pruning, debris piling, and waste burning for shaded fuel breaks located in Wells with a total estimated area of 5.1 hectares. This treatment is one of three fuel reduction projects being advertised in 2022 on BC BID by the Quesnel District, totaling 43.4 hectares (see overview map). Tenders must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions specified in the tender package. The lowest priced or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. This solicitation is subject to the New West Partnership Trade Agreement (NWPTA), the Canada Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), the agreement between the Government of Canada and the Government of the United States of America on Government Procurement (CUSPA), and the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (GPA).
