Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in New Westminster, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Upgrades to the City of New Westminster's SA-28 sewage pump station. These Instructions apply to and govern the preparation of tenders for this Contract. The Contract is generally for the following work: Supply and Installation of a submersible sewage pump. Supply and Installation of a bypass chamber and associated piping and fittings to the existing system. Supply and Installation of one (1) 300mm resilient wedge gate valve for isolation of the wet well. Supply and Installation of one (1) 200mm resilient wedge gate valve for isolation of the bypass chamber. Trenching, backfilling and compaction as required for project upgrades and conduits. Supply and Installation of a new programmable logic controller (PLC), operator panel (HMI), variable frequency drives, control relays, pilot devices, and related electrical upgrades and modifications. Sanding and Re-painting of the electrical kiosk. Shoring and dewatering as required. Reinstatement of roadways, pathways, sidewalks, and landscaping. Loading, transport, and disposal of excess soils.
