Well 22 is located on Sierra Vista Street approximately 200 feet north of 5th Street. This is also the location of the Common Well 22 Cla-Val. The proposed project will resolve existing operational and site issues at this facility. The proposed improvements include: removal of existing fencing, manual gate and doorway along the west side of the well house; furnish and install new tubular steel fencing including a new manual gate; relocation of existing fire hydrant (H2982); removal of existing concrete vault, one gate valve, one Cla-Val, one air release valve, and one flow meter; furnish and install a new Bailey valve, Magnetic Flow Meter and supporting electrical connections; ancillary piping and mechanical connections; furnish and install new resilient wedge gate valves to provide flexibility in isolating the new Bailey valve and Magnetic Flow Meter during future maintenance; furnish and install a new Hot Box Insulated Enclosure for all above ground piping; construction of a concrete pad for all above ground piping and Hot Box insulated enclosure; removal of existing asphalt pavement on the west side of the well house; and regrading and repaving on the west side of the well house to drain away and towards Sierra Vista Street.
