The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informalities in bidding, and to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to said City. The BIDDER'S attention is called to the "Notice of Requirement for Affirmative Action to Ensure Equal Employment Opportunity (Executive Order 11246)" contained in the bid documents, which sets forth, in part, goals and timetables for the employment of women and minorities in the project area. In accordance with the Wisconsin State Statutes 66.0901, all BIDDERS must submit to the Board of Public Works - Proof of Responsibility - on forms furnished by the City. If the Contractor has previously qualified with the City, it is not necessary to file a "BIDDER'S PROOF OF RESPONSIBILITY." Funding for this project is all or in part due to a Safe Drinking Water Loan received by the City of Boscobel, Wisconsin from the Department of Natural Resources. In accordance with the Wisconsin Statutes 66.0903, Contractors and Subcontractors are required to pay not less than the PREVAILING WAGE RATES on Public Works Projects in accordance with DAVIS BACON AND RELATED ACTS (DBRA) and FEDERAL DECISION NUMBER WI20220022 (as modified 06/17/2022), copy of which is part of this proposal. This project incorporates American Iron and Steel Requirements. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a CERTIFIED CHECK or BID BOND in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid, and said check shall be forfeited to the City of Boscobel in the event the BIDDER shall fail to enter into a contract in accordance with the terms of the proposal after bid has been accepted by the City of Boscobel. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of bids for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time without consent of the City. here will be a Pre-Construction Conference held on September 21, 2022, at 1:00 P.M. at the office of the Director of Public Works, 1006 Wisconsin Ave., Boscobel, Wisconsin.
