The City of Aledo is soliciting proposals from qualified firms for the fabrication and installation of a wayfinding directional sign for the City of Aledo Industrial Park in Aledo, Illinois. The contractor to whom this award shall be made pursuant to this procurement shall be subject to all applicable to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including but not limited to compliance with 30 ILCS 570/ (Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act) and 820 ILCS 130/ (Illinois Prevailing Wage Act).The submissions of the proposal or bid by the Offerer in response to the Advertisement for Bids constitutes an acknowledgment of and an agreement by the Offerer that it understands and will comply with the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act and the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act. A Contract Bond for payment and performance is required in connection with this procurement. The bond shall specifically provide that the Principal must pay all sums of money due or to become due for any labor in accordance with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (IL Rev. Stat. Ch. 48, Sec. 39(s) -1-12). The City of Aledo has the absolute right to reject any and all bids and proposals, in whole or in part, and the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding as determined in the sole discretion of the City.
