Job No. C-99-085-21, I-57, Phase III Construction Engineering Add Lane Project, Franklin and Jefferson Counties, Region Five/District Nine. This project may contain Federal Funds. This project requires a 25% DBE participation, or if the contract goal is not met, documented evidence of good faith efforts. The Complexity Factor for this project is 0 The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on October 26, 2022, at 10:00 AM at the Region Five/District Nine Office in Carbondale Phase III engineering services are required to provide construction supervision, inspection, engineering layout, record maintenance and Quality Assurance (QA) testing for hot mix asphalt (HMA), Portland cement concrete (PCC), soils, aggregate, pipe and precast culverts and other miscellaneous materials. This work is anticipated to consist of lane additions, bridge replacement, barrier wall, drainage structures, earth excavation and resurfacing of the existing lanes The project is scheduled for construction during the 2023 through 2026 construction seasons. The Consultant must complete and submit final measurements, calculations, and contract record documentation to the department no later than six (6) weeks after completion of each project as required.
