Sealed bids will be received by Fulton County Board c/o The Fulton County Sheriff hereinafter known as the Owner, for the Parking Lot Pavement Resurfacing at the Fulton County Jail, 268 West Washington Ave., Lewistown, Illinois 61542. The time for completion of the Project shall be Monday, August 1, 2022. All bidders are hereby advised that they must submit a Prequalification Statement and required documentation for this Project. Bidders must receive approval by the Owner and Architect prior to the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference. Minutes of the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be disseminated to all those attending and available to the General Public upon written request. All requests for clarifications or interpretations outside of the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference shall be made in writing and will be answered by Addendum when appropriate. Commencement of the work on the project shall be subject to the discretion of the Fulton County Board. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to accept any or reject all bids when in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve the best interest of the Owner. Bids on All Work of this contract shall be subject to the provisions of the "Illinois Prevailing Wage Act" (Illinois Revised Statutes, Chapter 48, Section 395S-1-12.)
