Reference number : 1629050 Review Title : Rehabilitation work on a condensate line and inspection work on underground steam and condensate lines CHSM-IUGM Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2022-08-17 Submission sent electronically accepted: No Estimated value: $200,000 to $302,899 Rehabilitation work on a condensate line and inspection work on underground steam and condensate lines CHSM-IUGM CALL FOR TENDERS NO ODIM-2022-0079 The Integrated University Health and Social Services Center (CIUSSS) of the West Island of Montreal, having its administrative center at 2400, boulevard des Sources, Pointe-Claire (Quebec) H9R 0E9 is requesting tenders for the project titled Rehabilitation work on a condensate line and inspection work on underground steam and condensate lines CHSM-IUGM. The estimated value of the construction work is between $200,000 and $302,900 (plus tax). The call for tenders document is available only through the electronic tender website or by calling for the Montreal region at 514 856-6600 or for outside toll-free at 1 866 669-7326. For information purposes, the project consists mainly of providing technical assistance for the inspection of a steam and condensate line, it includes civil works for the deviation of the condensate line, the modification of the piping of the condensate line and steam which must be done before and during the inspection of the pipes by a specialized contractor. The work completion period is 13 weeks from the date of the authorization to begin the work given by the project manager. If a contractor submits several tenders for the same call for tenders, all his tenders are automatically rejected. TENDERS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A TENDING SECURITY ACCORDING TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS: In an amount equivalent to a percentage of the tender price and in the form determined below: A bid bond issued by a financial institution and established in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the price of the bid, valid for a period of forty-five (45) days from the date of opening of the bids; or A certified check or bank draft made payable to the Project Manager in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price; or An irrevocable letter of guarantee issued by a bank, a savings or credit union or a trust or savings company and conforming to the provisions of the Project Manager's Irrevocable Letter of Guarantee form in the amount of ten one hundred (10%) of the bid price. Only contractors having a business office in Quebec or, when an intergovernmental agreement is applicable, in Quebec or in a province or territory covered by this agreement and holding the license required under the Building Act are eligible to bid. . A contractor holding a restricted license issued by the Régie du bâtiment du Québec or registered in the register of enterprises ineligible for public contracts (RENA) and whose period of ineligibility for public contracts has not ended, is not eligible to submit a bid; these two cases of inadmissibility also apply to the tenderer's subcontractors. Tenderers are responsible for the choice of subcontractors, both for their solvency and for the content of their tender; and must inform them of the conditions they intend to impose on them and ensure that they hold the required permits and licenses. A tender will be rejected, after authorization by the manager pursuant to the provisions of section IV.1 of chapter II of the Regulation respecting construction contracts of public bodies, if it includes an abnormally low price.
