The scope of work under this bid is to haul semi tanker sized loads of leachate out of the 12,000 gallon tanks located in the maintenance building at Landfill #4 located at 1074 East 1363rd Lane, Quincy, IL 62305 and transport it under a nonhazardous special waste manifest to the Quincy Sewage Treatment Plant. The leachate is to be discharged at a point designated by the POTW staff at the head of the plant for ultimate treatment and disposal Reason: Leachate Hauling: Cost to haul from Municipal Landfill # 4 to the Waste Water Treatment Plant which is located at: 700 West Lock and Dam Road. September 1, 2022 to August 30, 2024 The City reserves the right to unilaterally add or delete locations/services, either collectively or individually, at the City's sole option, at any time after award has been made as may be deemed necessary or in the best interests of the City. In such case, the contractor(s) will be required to provide services to this contract in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications.
