Project was awarded to the following contractors with bid amount; General Contract – LB Industries $986,523 Mechanical Contract – Master Mechanical, Inc. $2,604,138 Electrical Contract – Diefenderfer Electrical, Inc. $202,850 The Project generally consists of replacing the boiler system at the Kline's Island Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), including related mechanical / HVAC, and electrical work. 1. Physical Project Location: Kline's Island Wastewater Treatment Plant, 112 West Union Street, Allentown, PA 2. Owner: City of Allentown, 435 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA 18101 3. Operator: Lehigh County Authority, 1053 Spruce Street, Allentown, PA 18106 Each Bid must be accompanied by Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond (in the required form) or certified check for ten percent of the Bid total. A Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond are also required prior to award of the Contract. This Project is subject to the provisions of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. It is a requirement of this Contract that Bidder shall have a minimum of (5) years' experience and at least (10) completed projects of similar nature to the Work required by this Project.
