The successful contractor will be required to provide: (1) Liability insurance naming the City of Bell as additional insured; (2) 100% Faithful Performance Bond; and (3) 100% Labor and Material Bond. DESCRIPTION OF WORK The project consists of the design and construction of the 4-acre Pritchard Field improvements that includes a new playground, swing station, splash pad, dog parks, walking trails, tree grove, office/restroom facilities, parking lot, art sculpture, native plant landscaping, picnic gazebos, LED light fixtures, and storm water devices. The City of Bell is located in the southeastern portion of Los Angeles County. The City has an estimated population of 36,000 residents and covers an area of approximately 2.7 square miles. Pritchard Field is located on the North/East corner of Florence Avenue and Walker Avenue. It is approximately 4 acres in size and consists of playground, swing station, splash pad, dog parks, walking trails, tree grove, restroom/multi-purpose room building facilities, parking lots, art sculptures, shading, native planting landscaping, open lawn areas, storm water capturing devices, bioswales, and fitness gym. Other improvements include energy efficient LED luminaires for the park and parking lots and picnic gazebos with solar lighting.
