The project consists of pavement cold mill and ARHM overlay and includes replacing sidewalk, cross gutters, ADA ramps, adjusting manhole frames and valves to grade, traffic striping, replacing an existing 12-inch VCP sewer with a 15-inch VCP and 18-inch VCP, and modifying or replacing existing sewer manholes. Contract Time: 60 Working Days A 10% Bidder's Bond is required with the Bid. The successful contractor will be required to provide: (1) Liability insurance naming the City of Bell as additional insured; (2) Proof of workman's compensation insurance coverage; (3) 100% Faithful Performance Bond; and (4) 100% Labor and Material Bond. The work to be performed or executed under these specifications consists of furnishing all materials, equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals as required by the contract documents for: Street and Sewer Improvements on Florence Avenue (Between Vinevale Avenue and Wilcox Avenue). The project consists of replacing the existing 12-inch VCP sewer with a 15-inch VCP and 18-inch VCP, modifying existing manhole base, adjusting manhole to grade, replacing existing manhole with precast concrete manhole, pavement cold mill and ARHM overlay. It includes replacing sidewalk, cross gutters, ADA ramps, adjusting manhole frames and valves to grade, striping, and other incidental and appurtenant work necessary for the proper completion of the Project. It is the intent of this contract to have the contractor perform the STREET AND SEWER IMPROVEMENTS FLORENCE AVENUE FROM ATLATIC TO LA RIVER BRIDGE, FY 2021 - 2022 IN THE CITY OF BELL, and other appurtenances in accordance with these SPECIFICATIONS and PLANS.
