90% Design (GMP) A Construction Manager has been selected. 1. Improvements to the existing Headworks Building including: a. Replacement of screens, screenings conveyor(s), and screenings compactors. b. Replacement of grit concentrator and classifier equipment. c. Installation of grit concentrator and classifier organic waste line. d. Replacement of grit piping and grit pumps. e. Installation of two actuators on existing slide gates. f. Building modifications including replacement of HVAC and floor drains. 2. Improvements to the aerobic basins (A-basins), including: a. Two new A-basins. b. New blower building with new blowers for all A-basins. c. Extension of pipe gallery. d. New RAS pumps. e. New Mixed Liquor Return (MLR) pumps. f. Installation of anoxic zone baffle walls in existing A-basins. 3. Improvements to the existing UV structure including: a. Installation of new UV equipment including associated channel modifications. b. Installation of gates in UV channels. c. Installation of a new canopy over UV structure. 4. Installation of new dewatering building including: a. New sludge blending tank. b. Centrifuges and centrifuge feed equipment (pumps, grinders, and polymer mixing and feed equipment). c. Dewatered cake conveyor. d. Truck scale. e. Centrate piping and pumping station. f. Covered biosolids storage area. 5. Improvements to yard piping and hydraulic control structures, including: a. Raising the walls of Control Structure No. 1. b. Adding splitter elements to Control Structure No. 2. c. Installation of influent piping to new A-basins and new effluent piping from new A-basins. d. Installation of plant water, potable water, and domestic sewer piping as required for service to the new structures.
