Renovation of a municipal facility in Jasper, Arkansas. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Newton County is seeking proposals for architectural services to submit floor plans and cost estimates for grant applications to reroof and renovate two county-owned buildings, and to draw detailed plans, create bid packets, and oversee construction if the applications are successful. PAYMENT IS CONTINGENT ON SUCCESSFUL GRANT APPLICATIIONS. The architectural firm must be willing to contract contingent upon funding. Application documents are due in September 2022, with grant decisions finalized around April 2023. The Health Unit and Food Room are in neighboring buildings on the same site. The priority for each building is roofing. The health unit will also add a drive-through shot clinic, and the food room needs basic renovation. Each project may request $300,000.00, which includes architectural service fees as approved by the state. The county is looking for practical architectural services that will stretch grant dollars.
