Remodeling of an educational facility in Pomona, California. Completed plans call for the remodel of a educational facility.
Project number 121-09-03 In general, the work consists of renovating of a portion of Building 41, to create an exercise science lab space. Mechanical equipment replacement, electrical and plumbing modifications. Renovations include new restrooms, removal of existing walls, finish materials and reconstruction/reconfiguration to meet current program needs. Work includes but is not limited to new ceilings, non-bearing walls, doors, hardware, flooring, lighting, electrical, data, fire alarm, and plumbing systems. The construction estimate is $1,200,000. The Trustees require the successful bidder to achieve three percent (3%) DVBE participation in contracting construction projects as established in the bidding documents, and bidders shall identify the DVBEs to be used to satisfy this requirement in their bids.In accordance with Government Code 14838(f), and Military and Veterans Code 999.5(a) and 999.5(d), the Trustees are granting a bid incentive for bid evaluation purposes only to Bidders that exceed the three percent (3%) DVBE participation requirement. The level of DVBE incentive will correlate to the level of participation; that is, the more DVBE participation proposed, the higher the incentive. All Requests for Information (RFI) should be addressed in writing to Duane Johnson at duanejohnson@cpp.edu with the Subject Title: CPP-PW22005 RFI, no later than Wednesday, August 31, 2022, by 5:00 p.m.
