Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Chesterfield, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of construction of approximately 680 feet of Main Circle Drive connecting the existing round-a-bout to Veterans Place Drive along with the associated grading, storm sewers, sidewalk, approaches, striping, and restoration.. The awarded Contractor shall have 60 days from the date of Notice to Proceed to complete the project. Not less than the prevailing hourly rates of wages as found by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri, or determined by court on appeal, shall be paid to all workers performing work under this Contract. Bidders are informed that pursuant to Section 285.530, RSMo, as a condition of the award of any contract in excess of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00), the successful bidder shall, by sworn affidavit and provision of documentation, affirm its enrollment and participation in a federal work authorization program with respect to the employees working in connection to the contracted services. Successful bidders shall also sign an affidavit affirming that they do not knowingly employ any person who is an unauthorized alien in connection to the contracted services. Contractors and sub-contractors who sign a contract to work on a public works project shall provide a ten (10) hour OSHA construction safety program, or similar program approved by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, to be completed by their on-site employees within sixty (60) days of beginning work on the construction project. Each bid must be accompanied by a cashiers check or certified check, or a Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and an approved surety company and payable to the City, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the sum total of the base bid. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive informalities therein, to determine the lowest and best bid as determined in the sole discretion of the City.
