Parkway School District is seeking bids from qualified local vendor, to supply the district network upgrade, to be ordered on an "as needed basis", as required throughout the term of the contract, under a blanket purchase order agreement Q&A End November 30, 2022 through electronically. Intent to Bid Due Date: Jan 3rd 2023, 11:00 AM CST Parkway School District is looking to replace aging network switches and wireless access points with new updated technology to keep up with the growing need of more throughput and growing number of devices on the network to support learning. The District will be applying for e-rate funds for this project.Parkway School District's network stretches across the 27 campuses and 35 buildings that make up the District. These campuses are connected by a District owned and maintained fiber optic Wide Area Network (WAN) which provides data services to our five (5) high schools, five (5) middle schools, nineteen (19) elementary schools, two (2) early childhood buildings and four (4) non-instructional buildings. The District's current Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) consists of 1600 access points across the 33 buildings to provide general mobility throughout our buildings for a large number of wireless devices. It is the District's policy to award a bid based on the best bid. However, the District retains the right to award in whatever manner serves the best interests of the District.The contract will be awarded only to a responsible contractor qualified by experience and in a financial position to do the work required.The contractor must provide a complete set of comprehensive and easy to understand manuals (as applicable) for service, operation, parts, and repair. All manuals must be written in American English. No substitution shall be made on any item ordered without authorization from the ordering or purchasing department. No exceptions may be drawn to this clause. All unacceptable material will be returned with no expense to the District.Any bidder with questions must submit in writing via the bidding platform, Bonfire. Questions are to be submitted through the Opportunity Q&A via the Messages panel. All questions must be submitted by the Bid's Question Due Date. Every attempt shall be made to ensure that the bidder receives a prompt response if such questions are received in a timely manner. Any questions submitted outside the Bonfire platform shall not be answered. Notwithstanding, anything to the contrary, the District may terminate this Agreement at any time by giving thirty (30) days written notice to the contractor. In the event the Agreement is terminated by the District, the contractor will be paid for the time and or services provided and expenses incurred up to the termination date. In the event the Agreement is terminated by the District, the District shall have sixty (60) days to off board any data from the platform deemed the property of the District. All Parkway School District documents issued in conjunction with this solicitation, including but not limited to the original solicitation, subsequent addenda, clarification and vendor questions/answers as well as all PSD accepted documents submitted in response to the RFP, including any attachments and appendices are incorporated into the contract between PSD and the Vendor and contain the entire agreement between the parties and supersedes all prior oral and written agreements and understandings between the parties with respect to the subject matter hereof. PSD's award letter is expressly incorporated into the contract between the vendor and PSD. If any language of the response submitted by the Vendor conflicts with language of the RFP, the language of the RFP shall govern and control for all purposes unless consented to and agreed to by PSD in writing.
