Per the owner, as of May 8, 2024, an award has been made for this solicitation. The project is currently in the right-of-way acquisition phase. The owner states that the project is anticipated to bid in 2025 and construction is anticipated to begin in the spring of 2025. The City of Coalinga, Public Works Department (City) is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide appraisal, negotiation, and acquisition services for seven (7) temporary construction easements, seven (7) permanent public pedestrian access easements and seven (7) permission to enter and construct agreements. All of the proposed properties are located in various locations in the City of Coalinga. Easements will be acquired by the City of Coalinga to facilitate the construction of the Multi-Use Trail Pedestrian Improvement Project. This Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is not an invitation to bid, and although price is very important, other factors will be taken into consideration in the selection of the most qualified firm. There is no express or implied obligation for the City of Coalinga to reimburse responding firms for any expenses incurred in preparing proposals in response to this request. The City reserves the right to retain all proposals submitted, and to use any ideas in a proposal regardless of whether that proposal is selected. Submission of a proposal indicates acceptance by the firm of the conditions contained in this RFQ, unless clearly and specifically noted in the proposal submitted and confirmed in the contract between the City and the selected firm.
