Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in West Jordan, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

The City is seeking a qualified design-build skatepark and bike park general contractor or team of contractors to design and build a new skatepark and bike park (Wheels Park) with an integrated stormwater detention basin (Park). The site location is 8600 S. and Fallwater Drive, West Jordan, UT. The location is the vacant property Southeast of the roundabout. The Park shall incorporate beginner and advanced wheeled activity recreation offerings (skateboards, BMX freestyle bikes, roller skates, mountain bikes, scooters, longboards, mountain boards, etc.) into the land adjacent to and doubling as the stormwater detention basin. All such questions should be received by September 6, 2022, @ 10:00 a.m. MST Answers to questions will be posted on the U3P which will then email the answer to all Offerors that downloaded the RFP. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals received, and to select the proposal deemed to be the most advantageous and in the best interest of the City. Non-acceptance of a proposal will mean that one or more others were deemed more advantageous to the City or that all proposals were rejected. The phase 1 budget is $4.0 million to be awarded with this RFP. The Contractor must guarantee their proposed cost for phase 1. Phase 1 of this project is expected to be completed from September 2022 through June 2023. Phase 2 of this project will be an additional $1 million to $1.2 million and is anticipated to begin immediately upon completion of phase 1. Phases 3 and 4 are to be determined and are dependent upon future funding but are expected in the future for the complete build-out of the Wheels Park area.
