Bid Bond: Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, cashier's check or certified credit union share draft in a separate envelope in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Bids will only be accepted for the above listed bid packages. Separate contracts will be awarded for each Bid Package, and combined bids will not be accepted. Sealed bids previously received for such Project will be presented to and considered by the School Board of Directors on September 26, 2022. Proposals received will be acted upon at such time and place or at such later time and place as may then be fixed by the Board of Director Payment of the cost of the project will be made in cash from such fund or funds of the Owner as may be lawfully used for said purpose. By virtue of statutory authority, preference will be given to products and provisions grown and/or produced within the State of Iowa, and preference will be given to Iowa domestic labor as provided in the Code of Iowa.
