Renovation of a water / sewer project in Ocean Pines, Maryland. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Rehabilitation of the Mystic Harbour water treatment plant building and equipment. The project includes rehabilitation of the exterior and interior of the Water Treatment building at Mystic Harbour. The exterior of the building needs a new roof, repair of the concrete block and either painting or siding to make the building more aesthetically acceptable. The building interior requires a new interior ceiling, cleaning and painting of the walls, sandblasting and painting of the intentor piping and filters. In addition, there are a number of electrical improvements needed, safety issues addressed and chemical feed systems upgraded to current standards. Purpose: To extend the life of the building. This project is in included in the County's FY 2023-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of August 10, 2022, further details regarding design and construction have not been identified. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
