Site work and new construction of a civil project in Bullhead City, Arizona. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project.
This project is for the design and construction of a variety of miscellaneous sewer improvements and repairs of the remaining ductile iron pipe (DIP) and associated manholes, vaults and borings within city limits. A variety of improvements have been undertaken over the years including upsizing of sewer mains, repair of pipe and manholes, and the pump out and abandonment of septic tanks and other vaults. These improvements and repairs protect the environment and the public health by upsizing sewer facilities to eliminate surcharging and corrosion of manholes. This in turn lowers operating costs and efforts by reducing sewer plugging, reducing wastewater treatment operations, and improving energy efficiency. As of August 17, 2022, this project is currently in the City of Bullhead City's FY 2022-2027 CIP. Information regarding a design team and the contractor selection has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
