The City of San Bruno (City) is located on the San Francisco Peninsula in San Mateo County, approximately 12 miles south of San Francisco and immediately adjacent to the San Francisco International Airport. The City, through the Public Works Department, seeks to retain professional engineering services to assist with the design and construction of the 2022-2023 Slurry Seal Project. The design shall include pavement maintenance through use of base repair if applicable and application of slurry seal treatment for up to 13.5 centerline miles of streets with a Pavement Condition Index (PCI) between 80 and 90. Consultants are urged to submit concise proposals, appropriate to the scale of the project and include only items that are relevant to this specific project. The Fee Proposal shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope marked "Fee Proposal for "2022-2023 Slurry Seal Project". Written summaries of all questions and answers will be distributed to each consultant. Anonymity of the source of specific written questions will be maintained in the written responses. A clarification addendum will be issued, if necessary. The City of San Bruno reserves the right to reject any or all responses received as a result of this solicitation; to extend the submission due date for; to modify, amend, reissue or rewrite this document; and to procure any or all services by other means. The method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
