The City of Cape Coral, Florida will receive Bids for Generator Maintenance, Repair & Installation Services per specifications on file. Bid Bond None Plan (blueprint) None No questions will be accepted after 2:00 PM on August 19, 2022. Submit all questions in writing to sblum@capecoral.gov. The Legal Entity Name of proposer must be provided on the proposal submittal and all proposal form documents that are being submitted for the proposed goods or services requested in this solicitation. The Legal Entity Name will be used when creating the proposed goods or services contract between the Awarded Firm and the City. Pursuant to Florida State Statute 119.071 (2) Sealed bids, proposals or replies received by an agency pursuant to a competitive solicitation are exempt from s. 119.071(1) and s. 24(a), Art. I of the State Constitution until such time as the agency provides notice of intended decision or until 30 days after opening the bids, proposals, or final replies, whichever is earlier Bids must be date stamped at the office of the procurement division no later than Thirty (30) minutes prior to the scheduled bid opening. Bids presented after that time Will be refused. The time indicated on the date stamp machine located in the procurement division is Considered the official time. It is the responsibility of the vendor to ensure all bids are received by the procurement Division by the submission deadline. Procurement is not responsible for late mail or overnight deliveries The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids in whole or in part and to waive any irregularities or informalities when in the best interest of the citizens of the City of Cape Coral. This bid shall be in effect for two (2) years. This bid, or any portion thereof, has the option of being renewed for one (1) additional two (2) year period, upon mutual agreement of both parties, for all terms and conditions. This contract will be effective October 1, 2022. See Sample Contract Exhibit B.
